We are pleased to announce the substantial donation of £3,000 we made to MacMillan Cancer Support, thanks to the incredible efforts of our Tetsudo community.
In January we raised £200 from the New Year party raffle which was supplemented by a very generous personal donation of £300 by Master B.S. Dhaliwal. But we did not stop there, Ustad Andy Patel had an idea – could the Association’s clubs get together and collectively raise a further £250?
Well in just 5 weeks they managed to raise an incredible £2,500, bringing the total to £3,000!
This remarkable achievement is testimony to the dedication and generosity of our instructors, our students, our families, and our friends. We are immensely grateful for everyone’s support and contributions; it is a testament to the strength of our Tetsudo community.
Tetsudo is about making a difference to other people’s lives. So, with the right effort and the right focus it is amazing what can be achieved in a short space of time.
Simply put ‘an incredible achievement’.
