37 years ago on the 31st Jan 1986 Master Michael Newton and Ustads Dipak Gosrani, Martin Foster, Paul Gibson and David Belton received their Blackbelts at the Clinton Rooms in Nottingham.
Mr B.S. Dhaliwal said:
“For 37yrs Master Newton and Ustads Dipak and Martin have been shining examples of good Studentship, Artistry, Diligence and above all Humbleness…. Any student of any artistic endeavour could learn so much about these virtues from these Noble Ustads. Their Service and Loyalty to the Association has always been beyond the ‘call of duty’. Without their commitment and efforts during those early years of the 70’s and 80’s the Association, in its present form, would not exist”.
